Indications/Uses
External ocular infection eg, conjunctivitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin, ofloxacin, or any quinolone antibiotics.
Special Precautions
Monitor closely w/ frequent or prolonged use in dry eye patients or where the cornea is compromised. Do not wear contact lens when eyes are red. Not for the treatment of contact lens related irritation. Wait at least 10 min prior to wearing soft contact lens & whose eyes are not red. Do not touch the tip of the bottle to the eye. Confirm bacterial susceptibility & limit treatment to min period for the eradication of infection. Immediately administer other drug having a potent anti-MRSA activity to patients positively infected w/ MRSA & not showing improvement of symptoms. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Eye irritation & eyelid itching. Shock, anaphylactoid reaction.
